The Bellevue Youth Theatre is dedicated to providing theater opportunities for all young people, ages 8 to 19, or children under 8 who have a parent or guardian present at all times. Persons with disabilities, families and older adults are encouraged to participate. The focus of the theater is to build self-esteem, teamwork and confidence while performing in a supportive environment. Children under 12 and first-time participants can expect smaller roles and limited lines. For more information, please call 425-452-7155.

Preregistration is not allowed. YOU MUST AUDITION TO BE IN BELLEVUE YOUTH THEATRE PROGRAMS. There is no need to prepare anything for the audition. Participants 18 and older are required to have a current Washington State Patrol background check on file at the theater. These are good for one year.

Coming Auditions:

Auditions will be held at the following place and times:

Monday, June 11 and Tuesday, June 12 at Bellevue Youth Theatre from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.:
Alice in Wonderland

Locations - year-round audition, rehearsal and performance locations.

Alice in Wonderland
Pick your time and enjoy this delightful tale with all the characters from the book. There will be two casts of "Alice in Wonderland." One cast will rehearse from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and the other from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. If you are gone for more than two weeks during the rehearsal process, please get permission from BYT staff to audition. You cannot audition if you are gone for any part of the week of the show's performances, and you will be dropped if scheduling conflicts come up.

Rehearsal location - Bellevue Youth Theatre
Rehearsal begins - Monday, June 25
Rehearses - Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Performances - Meydenbauer Theatre, August 9-12
