Welcome

Windows is not automatically equipped to show some foreign language character sets, including the one for Chinese. If you see rows of boxes on this page instead of Chinese characters, you can install East Asian language files on your computer by following the steps here. You will need your Windows or Office installation discs.

Go to Control Panel and open Regional and Language Options.
Click on the Languages tab and, under Supplemental language support, check the box for "Install files for East Asian languages."
Click OK or Apply. You will prompted to insert the Windows CD-ROM or point to a network location where the files are located.
After the files are installed, you must restart your computer.
