The Bellevue Fire Department assists the public in the protection of life and property by minimizing the impact of fire, medical emergencies and potential disasters or uncontrolled events.

In November 2016, voters approved a ballot measure that will fund needed improvements to fire stations and construction of a new one to serve downtown and surrounding areas.
