Highland Community Center

The Highland Community Center provides people who have disabilities with opportunities for recreation, socialization and learning, so they can participate more successfully in the community. There is a wide array of recreation, sports, fitness, cultural arts and socialization activities for people of all ages with disabilities.

We provide a variety of opportunities, offering different levels of accommodation, to ensure that individuals with disabilities have recreational choices. We are committed to working with people with disabilities, their families and caregivers to make it possible for each person to participate in the least restrictive environment. It is our belief that individuals should have the choice of participating in recreation programs that offer individuals with the greatest opportunity for successful participation in both inclusion and specialized recreation programs.

If the Bellevue School District is closed due to inclement weather, all Parks classes and programs are cancelled. However, select facilities may be open for drop-in activities at a modified level. Please call the facility or program area for additional information and weekend program information.
